Don’t like having to wait in lines? Then you can instead vote from the comfort of your own home! Click here to request a mail-in ballot. Note, this requires a Maryland State ID / License. If you don’t have a State ID, you can click this link to print and mail the application form.
The first batch of mail-in ballots will be mailed out on 5/12/26. It takes about 1 business week to receive your ballot after requesting it online on or after 5/12/26.
Make sure your ballot is postmarked by 6/23/26 or in a dropbox before 8PM on Election Day. It’s best to drop your ballot in the mail by 6/21/26 to guarantee it’s postmarked on-time. If necessary, you can ask the Post Office to manually postmark your ballot at the front counter.

FAQs About Voting
I’m a convicted felon, but I’ve completed my sentence. Can I still vote?
Yes! You will need to re-register to vote however. You can sign up online or mail in a registration form using the dropdown menu above.
Do I have to be a registered Democrat in order to vote for Malcolm?
Yes. Maryland is a closed primary state, which means only registered Democrats can vote in the Democratic Primary. Make sure you’re a registered Democrat before the voter registration deadline. You can check deadlines and update your registration using the dropdown menu above.
I forgot to change my address! What do I do?
Not to worry, you can still update your registration so long as you vote in-person during early voting. You’ll need either your Social Security Number or State-issued ID number to enroll.
When should I expect my mail-in ballot to arrive?
Mail-in ballots begin printing 30-45 days before any election. If you requested your ballot with less than 6 weeks before the election, you can expect to receive it within one business week.

If you’re a 1st-time voter, you can register to vote in-person at any polling place. You’ll need either your Social Security Number or State-issued ID.
It’s Election Day, but I haven’t turned in my Mail-In Ballot. What do I do?
You can still drop your ballot off at any polling place so long as it’s turned in by 8PM. To find your closest polling place, use the dropdown menu above.

I’ll be 18 by the general election, but i’ll be 17 still by the primary. can I still vote for Malcolm?
Yes! In Maryland, as long as you’ll be 18 by 11/3/26, you can still vote in the primary.
